Art From Nature
A nature-inspired textiles workshop with artist Sarah Henson
Join artist Sarah Henson for a gentle, creative walk through the beautiful estate grounds, where you'll learn to see the natural world through an artist’s eye. Through close observation, Sarah will guide you in heightening your visual awareness — focusing on shape, texture, space, and the subtle details of the landscape.
As we walk, we’ll gather natural materials like twigs, feathers, and grasses. Back in the barn, you'll be guided in transforming your finds into unique, woven and bound textile hangings to take home. Each piece will be a personal response to the environment and conditions of the day.
