BBC Ghosts
We love welcoming fans of the show and there are a couple of events which we know BBC Ghosts fans love. Our Filming Tours are guided tours around the Manor House where you can find out how the show was made and visit all of the rooms used in filming. At our Family & Fans Days you can see the principal rooms and take part in many fun activities like line dancing and archery.
When visiting West Horsley Place, or following us on social media, you will often see references to BBC Ghosts. It is a hit comedy sitcom from the creators of Horrible Histories which was filmed at our location. If you have never seen it, we urge you to give it a go! It is a hilarious and often poignant show full of loveable characters. The full series is on BBC iplayer.
BBC Ghosts was filmed, almost exclusively, at West Horsley Place. They filmed each winter between 2017 and 2021. Many rooms were used across the Manor House as well as parts of the gardens and estate.
The BBC Ghosts finale aired at Christmas 2023. As far as we are aware there are no plans to film more of the show. We advise following the members of the cast on social media to find out what their current and future projects are.
