Ticket Booking Terms & Conditions

Your commitment to us

Terms and conditions of purchases will apply to all transactions placed online, by e-mail, telephone or by post or in person with the West Horsley Place Trust.

When you confirm your purchase, you accept that these terms and conditions form the basis of any agreement between the West Horsley Place Trust and yourself.

 

Booking & Prices

Once purchased, online tickets may not be used in conjunction with any other offer. No ticket may be resold.

Prices are in pounds sterling (£) and they are inclusive of VAT.

All bookings made with us are subject to a 50p booking fee which helps the charity cover the costs of our ticketing software and secure payment system.

All credit / debit card transactions are subject to validation checks and authorisations by the card provider. If the issuer of your card refuses to authorise payment to us, the West Horsley Place Trust are not liable for any delay and / or non-delivery of your tickets.

Once you have paid, we will never increase the price of your tickets.

Prices before your purchase, advertised on any marketing material, are subject to change without notice.

 

Cancellations

If we find it necessary to cancel an event we will contact you and issue a full refund for your booking.

If we find it necessary to postpone an event we will contact you and try to reschedule your booking. A refund will be offered if the rescheduled date is unsuitable for you.

If you cancel your booking, we are unable to give refunds. We will do our best to reschedule your tickets if more than a week ahead of the event. Transfers can only be made subject to availability and West Horsley Place reserves the right to refuse to reschedule your tickets. West Horsley Place can only reschedule a booking once and will refuse any requests to reschedule multiple times.

 

Gift Vouchers

West Horsley Place gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of issue.

Voucher expiry dates cannot be extended.

Gift vouchers can only be redeemed online at westhorsleyplace.org.

To redeem the voucher you must enter the voucher code, in the promo code box when in your online basket.

Once redeemed, gift vouchers cannot be re-issued.

Vouchers have no cash value and cannot be redeemed against anything other than ticket purchases.

If you lose your voucher, you can request a copy by contacting us.

 

Visitor Terms

Visiting West Horsley Place is at the ticket holder's own risk.

We reserve the right to alter events without prior notice. Please note that areas of the house, barn and grounds may sometimes be inaccessible due to safety or maintenance needs. West Horsley Place is not liable to pay any compensation or damages in such instances.

We reserve the right to refuse admission.

We are not liable for any loss, injury or damage sustained within the premises unless due to our negligence.

Our ticketing policy operates at the discretion of West Horsley Place. Please note, these details apply to our own programmed events. Companies hiring West Horsley Place may operate differently.

 

Code of Conduct

We expect all visitors to:

  • Be considerate to others who are enjoying the space too

  • Take care off and supervise children at all times

 

  • Please do not leave dogs in vehicles, take a dog into the Manor House or leave a dog off lead around other members of the public or livestock on the estate. We ask that you dispose of dog waste properly

  • Respect the historic house and its collection and leave the historic site as you found it

  • Keep a sensible distance and do not to feed any livestock on the estate

  • West Horsley Place is a no smoking and no vaping site, smoking is only permitted in the car park areas

  • Dispose of your rubbish in the bins provided

  • Care for nature, do not cause damage or disturbance

  • Follow signs and keep to the paths

 

Please note that this code of conduct applies to anyone on our estate – whether visiting the house with an event ticket or enjoying our estate.

 

Media Consent

We will ask for media consent at any events where we wish to do filming or photography.

The unauthorised use of a camera, video camera or any other sort of recording equipment is strictly forbidden.

Commercial photography is prohibited; please contact us if you are a professional photographer interested in West Horsley Place.
