Create a beautiful willow star to bring a touch of natural charm to your Christmas decorations. Learn how to shape willow and use random weaving techniques to make a striking star, up to approximately 50cm, before adding twinkling fairy lights for a festive finishing touch.
Hang your finished star on the front door as an alternative to a traditional wreath, place it at the top of your Christmas tree or display it on a wall. There will also be time to make a few smaller stars to take home.
Judith Needham
Judith Needham is best known for her fairytale woven willow playhouses but she also loves passing on her skills and has been teaching basket making and willow sculpture for 15 years.
