Sensory storytelling sessions
Tots Tales is a fun and engaging play session designed for preschool children.
Through hands-on activities, storytelling, and interactive play, little ones can explore history in a way that sparks curiosity and creativity. Each session features a new tale inspired by the estate’s rich heritage, combined with experiences that encourage exploration, movement, and discovery.
After the session, families are welcome to continue their visit by exploring the beautiful gardens or relaxing in the café. Soft mats and toys will be available.
Spring SESSIONS
Each session is 10 - 10:45am
Wed 15 April - Daisy the dog gets up to mischief in the Manor House.
Wed 22 April - Explore the house with Anthony the Monkey meeting friends along the way.
Wed 29 April - Listen to your favourite stories in the library.
Wed 6 May - Listen to a traditional nursery rhyme and visit our very own mulberry tree in the orchard.
Wed 13 May - Discover day in the life of a King or Queen through poetry and play.
Wed 20 May - Enjoy spring themed sensory play in the garden.

Tots Tales
My granddaughter and I stumbled across Tots Tales at West Horsley Place and absolutely love it!
It is the most perfect 45 minute session for 2-4 year olds in the most glorious setting of the old house!
We have enjoyed interactive stories with participation, sensory and creative activities, action songs and the very beginnings of history!
The young leader is spot on with her welcoming, leading, pace and content.
Inspired! Highly recommend!
