A portraits in oils workshop
Working from a live model, you will learn how to approach portrait painting in oils.
Starting with an introduction to the fundamentals of oil painting, we will look at how to build a portrait using line, shape, tonal values and warm and cool colours, with the aim of capturing a likeness of the sitter.
Jo Shepherd
Jo is a professional artist and experienced tutor.
Her portraits have been exhibited at the Royal Academy, Mall Galleries and her solo portrait exhibition in 2016- FACE TO FACE was featured on the BBC news.
