Tales After Dark is our series of intimate evening storytelling experiences for adults, each with a different theme, new tales to experience and time for a tipple.
Turn back time to a period of intrigue, political instability, royal scandals and secrets and discover the stories of the Tudor women who inhabited WHP! Tales of bravery, witchcraft, love and murder. Join storyteller extraordinaire Olivia Armstrong for a magical evening.
Explore the manor house after hours, with exclusive access to its ancient library, historic Stone Hall (once graced by Henry VIII), and magical Drawing Room. Fans of BBC Ghosts, will love seeing the house at night.

Olivia Armstrong, WHP’s storyteller-in-residence, who has worked with top cultural institutions like the British Museum and Westminster Abbey.
Augustin Cornwall-Irving will bring the Tudor period to life as he plays music of the period on his lute. Augustin studied at the Royal College of Music where he won the Historical Performance Competition. He enjoys a busy career both as a soloist and accompanying some of the UK's leading early music singers, and in 2020 gave a solo recital for HRH The Prince of Wales.
