Tales After Dark is our series of intimate evening storytelling experiences for adults, each with a different theme, new tales to experience and time for a tipple.
Who should stay home on Bonfire Night? Who defied the king and lost his head? And who’s that lurking in the shadows? Join storytellers for an evening of playful tales, secret plots, and hidden histories.
Explore the manor house after hours, with exclusive access to its ancient library, historic Stone Hall (once graced by Henry VIII), and magical Drawing Room. Fans of BBC Ghosts, will love seeing the house at night.
Featuring
Olivia Armstrong, WHP’s storyteller-in-residence, who has worked with top cultural institutions like the British Museum and Westminster Abbey.
Cath Little, Cardiff-based storyteller and singer, known for weaving Celtic seasonal tales and songs with “rough magic” in her voice.
Practical Information
Tours last approx. 60 mins.
Tours at 6.30pm and 8pm
Suitable for 16+, under 18s must be accompanied
Before or after your tour you are welcome to enjoy the bar open 6 - 9.30pm.
