Step into the elegance of the early nineteenth century at our Regency Ball in the magnificent Stone Hall at West Horsley Place, a room whose interior design reflects the refined taste of the period. Enjoy live music, an expert-led dance workshop, and an evening of graceful dances brought to life in an authentic historic setting. With a glass of fizz, canapés, and limited tickets to ensure an intimate experience, this is a rare chance to immerse yourself in the charm, beauty, and sophistication of a true Regency celebration.

• Regency Dance Workshop
  A one-hour session led by Mrs Bennet’s Ballroom to master lively dances of the era, from cotillions to quadrilles, while learning the elegant etiquette of the Regency ballroom.

• Welcome Drink
  Enjoy an elegant glass of Blanc de Blanc from Albury Vinyard.

• Authentic Regency Canapés
  Prepared and served by Jane’s Historical Kitchen throughout the evening.

• Live Music
  The Capability Consort, a Regency dance band in period dress, performs on authentic instruments. Inspired by Ignatius Sancho’s published dances, the ensemble includes William Summers (Romantic flute), Diane Moore (Classical/Romantic violin), Jacob Garside (Classical/Romantic cello), and Ian Watt (Romantic guitar).

• Entertainment
  The Gentlewoman Juggler's playful yet ladylike antics will bewitch audiences. Her flying fans and twirling parasols bring the circus to the Regency era! Alongside her dazzling display skills, the Gentlewoman Juggler will be providing an array of Regency games. Head to the Drawing Room to join the fun!

• Silhouette Portraits
  Silhouette Sarah, a master of the rare 18th-century art of silhouette cutting, captures one’s likeness entirely freehand, live, with nothing but scissors and paper. Hand-cut portraits available for an additional fee of £10–£15.
