Saxon Smithing: Mjölnir Pendant
A Saxon Saga Workshop
Step into the smith’s tent and forge your own Mjölnir pendant over a live fire, guided by historical blacksmith Joe Tyler.
Experience the heat, sparks and rhythm of the Saxon forge in this hands-on workshop with historical blacksmith Joe Tyler. Working over a live fire in the smith’s tent at Saxon Saga, you’ll learn traditional blacksmithing techniques as you forge your own Mjölnir – Thor’s hammer – pendant to take home.
Under Joe’s expert guidance, discover the skills of the early medieval smith and experience first-hand how iron is heated, shaped and worked at the forge. You’ll leave with your own handcrafted pendant and a memorable introduction to one of the most important crafts of the Saxon world.
