Get creative together in this hands-on printmaking workshop for children and their grown-ups. Using the exciting collograph technique, you’ll design and build your own textured printing plate before bringing it to life on fabric.
Working side by side, you and your child will experiment with shapes, patterns, and materials to create a bold, original design, then print it onto a t-shirt to take home and wear. It’s a fun and rewarding way to explore printmaking while making something truly personal.
Wash-proof inks are provided—just bring along your own plain t-shirt ready to transform!

This workshop is with Jo Ellison, Arts, Heritage and Learning Coordinator at West Horsley Place. Jo is an experienced community artist with a love of screen priniting and welcoming families to West Horsley Place.
Practical Information
Workshop duration is 2 hours, inclunding a 20 min break for your printing plate to dry.
This workshop is suitable for children aged 4+, all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
