Explore the hidden corners, colours, and textures of the garden through observation and drawing. Gather inspiration outdoors before returning to the studio to transform your sketches into beautiful layered prints using the gel printing technique. Experiment with colour, pattern, and texture as you create unique artworks inspired by the natural world, taking home your own collection of vibrant garden impressions.
This workshop is with Jo Ellison, Arts, Heritage and Learning Coordinator at West Horsley Place. Jo is an experienced community artist with a love of screen priniting and welcoming families to West Horsley Place.
Practical Information
Workshop duration is 90 minutes
This workshop is suitable for children aged 5+, all children must be accompanied by an adult for the duration of the workshop.
