Guided by artist Jo Mabbutt, you’ll learn how to gild a variety of dried and pressed items — from flat leaves and flowers to more complex seedheads, pods, cones, bark, and walnuts.
Starting with simple techniques, you’ll progress to working on three-dimensional forms, creating beautiful pieces perfect for festive decorations, weddings, or keepsakes. This workshop is suitable for all levels and no prior experience is needed.
About Jo Mabbutt
Jo Mabbutt is a designer, maker, and experienced tutor who specialises in gilding vintage lace and natural forms. Her work has been exhibited widely, and she regularly teaches and lectures across the UK.
