West Horsley Place will once again be throwing open its doors this year for Heritage Open Days. Installation of essential services into the house has prevented us from being able to have regular public access, so the Heritage Open Days scheme is a great opportunity for us to welcome visitors at West Horsley Place and of course it’s free.
Access to the house will be by pre-booked guided tour only, while our 18th century walled gardens will be free for all to explore. Find out about the fascinating history of the house from our wonderful guides and help support the Mary Roxburghe Trust’s mission to restore it to life and create a vibrant centre for the performing and visual arts and the teaching of crafts on site.
15 and 16th September 11am-4pm
Tours will last 45 minutes with start times throughout the day.
Tour places are limited and must be booked in advance to avoid disappointment.
Tour places can be booked by telephone: 01483 282032 or email: firstname.lastname@example.org
Booking opens 3rd September.
We hope you can join us!
Access: Currently disabled access is only possible to the gardens and ground floor of the house. Please note that there are no lavatory or refreshement facilities at West Horsley Place. Only assistance dogs are allowed on site. Car parking on site.
